1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in the user's browser when they visit it. Cookies allow the site to remember information about the visit (language, settings, etc.) and to improve the browsing experience.
2. Types of cookies by purpose
- Strictly necessary cookies: essential for the site to work or to provide a service expressly requested by the user (includes security and anti-fraud cookies). They are exempt from the requirement to obtain prior consent.
- Preference cookies: remember user choices (such as language) or enable enriched content (e.g. embedded maps).
- Analytics cookies: measure and analyse, in aggregated form, the use of the website (e.g. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity).
- Marketing cookies: deliver personalised advertising (currently not used on this site).
3. Cookies used on this website

4. Consent
On your first visit to the website, a cookie banner is shown that allows you to accept all, reject all (necessary only) or configure cookies by category. The accept and reject buttons are displayed with equal visual weight, in line with the Spanish Data Protection Agency's (AEPD) guidance on the use of cookies. Optional categories (preferences and analytics) are unchecked by default and no third-party script is loaded until the user gives express consent.
You can modify or withdraw your consent at any time through the "Manage cookies" link located in the footer of every page on the site.
To know what share of visitors accept or reject this notice, the site keeps an aggregate count of how many times the banner is shown and what the first choice is (accept all, reject or configure). Only a daily total per language is stored, on our own server: no cookie is set, no IP address or identifier is recorded, and it cannot be used to recognise you. To avoid counting the same visit twice, and so as not to lose pending analytics events while you decide, your browser keeps two technical values in its session storage (sessionStorage: tf_ccv and tf_evq), which are deleted when you close the tab. The events in tf_evq are only sent to Google Analytics if you accept analytics; if you reject it, they are deleted.
5. How to manage and disable cookies in your browser
In addition to this site's banner, you may accept, block or delete cookies via your browser settings:
Blocking all cookies may affect the proper functioning of some site features.
6. International transfers
Some of the listed providers (Cloudflare, Google, Microsoft) have their parent company in the United States. International data transfers to these providers are made under the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
